thanks for writing this article.
i adopt hairless cats who were either abused by breeders or whose needs were neglected by their owners. th eone i have now was declawed by a botch doctor and her feet are misshapen. its sad that someone did that instead of treating her right. they are a high maintenence cat and need constant care and love. she couldnt survive if i werent taking care of her. PETA is definately wrong on this issue.

“Animal cruelty leads to human cruelty”–you said it. Anyone who would torture or kill a pet is going to do the same to a human. Every serial killer starts on animals…
We really need to make the penalties for animal abuse/murder much, much harsher.
