I really wished though, that my cat would leave her curiosity 'till day, instead of waiting till it gets late night and then tackle my door open while I'm trying to sleep, only to realize that nothing is missing. As always..

Oh this is so true. I have one room that they cannot go in and it is a bathroom and when I go in they all sit right outside and peek under the door. It is so funny. And closed doors are the most curious thing of all things.

ah yes... cats love solving a mystery.... Vidalia once got stuck in a drawer / she has a silent meow and we couldnt find her..for 12 hours /.. well yikes ... she could have been outside....and the outside door is the most dangerous.... we love them for their curiosity ...its part of them...but that same trait can be dangerous.... thats why we close the doors ....but as you say .... the right door and the right supervision and we all win
