Cat Welfare Week in the UK
Nov 22nd, 2009
by WereBear.
Cat Welfare Week is dedicated to raising awareness of the factors that may cause harm or distress to cats through physical, mental or environmental changes. By highlighting issues such as feline stress, the project hopes to remind owners what actions and traits are simply normal feline behaviour and which could be the symptoms of something more sinister.

I like that idea of raising awareness about cats health. I think it is important for people to take care of themselves mentally, spiritually, and physically. Part of that is taking care of your pets. I recently started feeding my kitten raw cat food, and let me tell you it has made a world of difference in her energy levels.
