We had thought three cats in our tiny apartment was probably our limit. But the Universe had other ideas.


While walking dogs, a friend of ours found a three week old kitten in a field. She was late to a dinner gathering because she had to drop him off at her vet’s, but she did take a cell phone picture of him, to help in finding a foster home. After the picture got passed around, it took about ten minutes...


He has brought great joy into our home ever since. Our boss princess, Olwyn, mothered him from the start, even though she was 18 months old and still a kitten herself. Reverend Jim was beside himself with happiness at the thought of having a “little buddy.” James Bond, our Senior Cat, was resigned.


Now nine months old, Tristan offers all the thrills and challenges of the Adolescent kitten.

Pure nutball. On the cusp between Alpha cat type, because of his energy and curiosity, and Beta cat type, because of his extreme social ability


where his genes came from

He most closely resembles an Ocicat, which is a blend of Abyssinian, Siamese, and Shorthair.
